They shot him down and he fell to his knees
Crying to the world, "somebody help me please!"
He begged for mercy and they tore him apart
He took a bullet straight through the heart
Before they killed him he did one thing
He made a promise to a girl by giving her ring
She watched him die as he fell to the ground
Not a tear was shed and there wasn't a sound
She walked up to the killers and and she gave them a look
She said she forgave them for the life they took
She told them about the man who paid their price
And on that day they met Christ
