About Me

Who I am:

My name is Sarah and I'm 19 years old. I was born in California but we moved to Michigan when I was five. I've been homeschooled and a Christian my whole life. I'm currently engaged to the most amazing man, Joshua. We've known each other for two and a half years and we've been dating for two years. Our wedding is set for December 2015.

I have been raised in a Christian family by two of the most amazing parents who have never given up on loving and training me no matter what. Rachel is my oldest sister and she is married with her second child due July 2015. Jonathan is my older brother and he has worked with the police department in the past and now works with security. Rebecca is my youngest sister and she is still being homeschooled.

Every day I'm learning so much more about my God and how I am supposed to live with Him. I am a 5-point Reformed Calvinist...I believe in 1) Total Depravity (Original Sin), 2) Unconditional Election (God's Chosen Elect), 3) Limited Atonement (Particular Redemption), 4) Irresistible Grace (Effectual Calling), 5) Perseverance of the Saints...as well as predestination, infant baptism, and post-millennialism to name a few.
In the past I've played viola and piano with various musical groups and organizations as well as performed over the course of a few years with various theater groups, my favorite of which is specifically musical theater. I continue to occasionally play viola and have previously played in numerous S&E events, honor recitals, weddings, and other recitals and concerts. I have performed with Lansing Symphony Orchestra before as well as performed at Bob Jones University in South Carolina.

So that's a little bit about me! If you'd like to contact me with any questions, comments, or prayer requests feel free to email me at sarahbellebacon@gmail.com - Thank you so much for reading my blog and if you ever have any comments or suggestions please just let me know!

You talk of musical theater... did you do HPA perchance? I know several people involved with GR and Lansing branches. (I'm from southeast MI myself!)

Absolutely! I did HPA for...4 or 5 years...can't remember now! Who do you know? That's so neat that we have that connection!

I met the Fedewa's at a ministry training in '09 and Zach Doer at Summit in '11. I met Zach's brothers too later in '11 when we went on a road trip for a reunion.
Through blogging, I know Lindsey Marie and an Elizabeth- I know neither of their last names.
