more thoughts

Though He sends us pain or depths of sorrow,
And there seems but darkness for the morrow,
God is love!

When the tempter goads with fear and terror,
And depression fills our soul with horror,
God is love!

When His Word and promises seem veiled,
And our faith, our deeds and love have failed,
God is love!

When we sin and grieve His loving heart,
But repent, He will not from us part;
God is love!

When He sends us tragedy and death,
And we struggle with our final breath,
God is love!

When we stand before Him, saved by grace,
We shall sing in Heaven through endless days;
God is love!

-William L. Windahl

Three little words they mean so much,
They are as good as a loving touch.
Say them often, just impromptu
Say them before they are long overdue.
They will help your love renew,
Just three little words, “I Love You.”

"The more love we give away, the more we have left!" – Gladys Wagoner

“Love’s reward is love” John ?

“If you have ever seen the “Fiddler on the Roof,” you know it has some beautiful music in it, and some of the lyrics are intriguing. Tevye asks his wife, “Do you love me?” She replies, “Haven’t I tended the children, milked the cows, washed your clothes and fixed your meals for 25 years?” “Yes,” he replies, “but do you love me?” After so much coaxing, she finally says, “Yes, I do love you.” Smiling, he says, “After 25 years, it’s good to know.” Why are we so reluctant to tell people we love them? I hope you will say “I love you,” to those you love today. It will enrich your own life as well as others.”
