Charlotte Community Library

For those of you who didn't know already, I work at our local community library. This library has been open for 18 years now...all without any remodeling or replacing going on. Well for the first time since we've opened we decided to finally do all that remodeling. So it's been closed for the past 2 weeks as they've all worked hard on making it look brand new. And it does! Let me tell you....a lot of our regular patrons will be coming in shocked on Monday morning. We moved whole sections around, added more study places, painted new carpets, painted new colors...a ton of stuff! Anyways...I was in there Wednesday and today...mainly just dusting every single book and every single spot on every single shelf and also shelving any books or stuff that comes in the library while it's closed. All that to say that if you live anywhere near Charlotte you're gonna love what we've done with it! We open on Monday, August 6th and it's gonna be absolutely beautiful. Enjoy!
